In early November Amazon launched its one-hour delivery service Prime Now in Milan, Italy. Making it possible for Prime-members in Milan, and the surrounding areas, to schedule a same-day delivery for free and have goods delivered within the hour for 6.90 euros.
Italy is the second European country to offer the Amazon service, after the United Kingdom, and now Amazon makes another push in Italy by adding fresh fruit and vegetables to its Prime Now app.
Milan and Surrounding Areas
According to a press release customers in Italy can now choose from 30 different types of fruits and vegetables. The items are available within an one or two-hour delivery window from 8.00 am to midnight.
For now, the fresh produce can be ordered if you live in the city of Milan and in 34 municipalities in the surrounding area but additional cities will probably follow.
