China’s B2B mobile e-commerce market is expecting a turnover of 24.2 billion yuan in 2015, which is a year-on-year increase of 79.3 percent, thanks to more shopping being made through mobile phones, according to a research report by Beijing-based Analysys International Ltd.
Big Players Are Launching B2B Websites
The report states the entire e-business market of China is expected to reach 13.8 trillion yuan by 2017, according to China Daily.
- Online procurement with advantage of transparency, convenience and supporting data analysis services will help enterprises, especially smaller ones which do not have team devoted to procurement to reduce their operational cost and enhance efficiency, the report said.
During 2015, for example JD.com and Suning.com have launched websites that are specifically customed for selling to other businesses. The report from Analysis International predicts this will be more common and more important for e-commerce businesses over the coming years.
