Demandware is a large e-commerce platform with customers like Adidas, House of Fraser, L'Oreal, Lancôme, GoPro among other big brands.
They now join hands with eBay Enterprise. The e-commerce company that recently was sold off from the marketplace Ebay, after PayPal had been spun out as a separate company. Ebay Enterprise also has a long list of big brands which they help online.

The new alliance will focus mainly on omnichannel, online combined with offline commerce, and is said to bring a comprehensive solution for retail brands.
Big brands is a key area for both eBay Enterprise and Demandware and together they hope to be able to bring an even better offer to the table.
- We believe this relationship offers an attractive option for commerce enablement and commerce operations, said Tobias Hartmann, president of eBay Enterprise.
Ebay Enterprise will bring what they call "post-click commerce technologies" to the partnership. That includes a centralized system for orders and inventory across the supply chain, allowing orders to be quickly fulfilled from distribution centers, physical stores or direct from suppliers.
- The combined capabilities will provide merchants with a strategic solution to accelerate omnichannel retailing maturity by bringing together market-leading ecommerce and fulfillment capabilities, said Jeff Barnett, chief operating officer at Demandware.
