Inditex to Conquer Europe With Continental Online Expansion

2016-02-11 16:35

This spring the Spanish fashion giant is set on launching e-commerce sites across the EU for all of its brands.

Inditex, the owner of for example Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka and Stradivarius, was founded in 1985 and is today one of the world’s largest fashion groups. Fashion boutique chain Zara, which very well might be the most famous store in its stall, has over the last couple of years expanded its online presence to Mexico, China and South Korea, among other countries.

Now Inditex has announced the group will introduce several new web shops. By April, all Inditex brands will be available to buy online in all 28 member states of the EU. When the expansion is complete, the brands of Inditex will be available in 40 countries worldwide.

Same Range and Pricing Online and Offline

Inditex has a thorough expansion plan for March and April listed on its website. In March Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe will launch web shops in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary and Slovakia.

All online stores will sell the same products as their physical store equivalent, and according to Inditex the stores will offer the same prices online and offline.
