UK, Germany and France Next to Be Fitted by EasySize EasySize on the way to the great European markets

UK, Germany and France Next to Be Fitted by EasySize

2015-11-26 16:05

The data-collecting fitting tool Easy Size is looking at a huge expansion in 2016.

Danish business EasySize tries to solve the issue of the high percentage of returns in e-commerce fashion, by using customer-specific data. According to EasySize the return rates of the European fashion e-commerce every year ends up between 30 to 35 percent, and the main reason for returning a fashion item is simply that it did not fit.

Last month EasySize entered the Swedish market, and Europe’s three biggest e-commerce markets France, Germany and UK are in the pipeline for 2016.

- It's true that EasySize is expanding to those markets in 2016, but they are going to make an official announcement later in 2016, said Gulnaz Khusainova, CEO and Founder of EasySize.

Buying Advice Based on Returns History

The EasySize fitting tool collects data on previous purchases and returns as well as analysing for example the type of fabric, how it has been cut and which country the garment orginates from in order to come up with the right size and product for each customer.

- We believe that accurate size prediction should not be based on what the customer’s perceived size is but based on actual customer purchases and the associated returns history, EasySize has previously said.

EasySize was founded in Denmark in 2013, and is now said to have behavioural data on more than 10 percent of Danish e-commerce fashion customers.
