The online store Zalando previously opened two outlet stores in Germany, one situated in Berlin and one in Frankfurt. Now an additional store has been opened, called a premium outlet. The new store, also in Frankfurt, sells clothes from Zalando’s own brands for men and women, together with brands like DKNY, Liebeskind and Joop, for approximately 60 percent of the normal retail price, according to online magazine Textil Wirtschaft.
- New design, new concept, new range. This week we will open our Premium Outlet Pop Up Store, Zalando writes on its German Facebook page.
From the looks of it, the new store thus will be in a pop up fashion. Nevertheless Zalando seems to have put down a fair amount of work on the new boutique. Judging from the pictures posted on Facebook and Twitter, Zalando has both rebuilt and redecorated the place in the last couple of weeks. However, speculations in Textil Wirtschaft reveal Zalando might very well use the place for marketing purposes even at times when it is not open for business.
To be able to shop at the Premium Outlet in Frankfurt customers need to be holders of a special outlet card. According to Textil Wirtschaft, however, the cards can be applied for in store.
